Plot:

Writer/director Prabhu Deva has described the film as a love story. This film is a jolly and cheerful love film. Normally the man will have the love for woman but in this it is the just opposite. A woman loves a man. A girl who lives in France loves a boy who goes from here. The whole film was shot in France.

Production:

Prabhu Deva initally named this film as Paris and it was developed under the title Ich until it was finally renamed Engeyum Kadhal in 2010. The composition of the songs took place in Sydney toward the end of 2009. The film started its shooting schedule in Paris on June 2, 2009, canning scenes featuring Ravi and Hansika.
